  1. Ahh, this reminds me of my wedding. My husband is from Rochester (just east of Buffalo, NY), and we went to visit his extended family just after our wedding, and first thing after we arrived in Buffalo, at 10 in the morning, we went directly to Anchor Bar and ate wings and drank cheap beer. It was our first meal as a married couple, and very delicious and memorable.

Of course, as you already know, in Portland the best wings are at Fire on the Mountain! Delicious every time.

What a great story Mary! Love it. I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never been to Fire on the Mountain for a wing fest! Gotta put it on my “to do” list.
