For those of you who live in the Bay area, two very special events are happening December 11 & 12– the first-ever Mutineer Magazine Holiday Comedy Festival & Blue Carpet Dinner benefiting water relief.

The events are ebullient catalysts for Mutineer’s 2011 trek to Nepal, where magazine staff will select “cultural influencers” and beverage industry reps to install five water filtration systems on behalf of the relief organization A Child’s Right.  The systems will provide clean drinking water to 25,000 children for ten years. To bring the full impact of the outreach home to readers, magazine editors will blog about the trip along the way and report on the endeavor with significant coverage in the May 2011 issue.

On December 10, join Mutineer Magazine and the comedians of the Mutineer Magazine Holiday Comedy Festival for a glamorous evening at the breathtaking Jordan Vineyard & Winery in support of global water relief through A Child’s Right.

It will be a night to remember with Jordan Executive Chef Todd Knoll preparing a truly inspired dinner paired with selections from the Jordan cellar, followed by a spectacular reception with delicious fine beverages, cigars, and music. Rare spirits from Preiss Imports, Jordan wines, and other intriguing auction lots will be offered in support of Mutineer Magazine’s April 2011 trip to Kathmandu, Nepal to install five water filtration systems purchased with raised funds.
