2007 Altovinum Evodia Grenache

The Altovinum Evodia Grenache is a wonderful wine that represents old vine Grenache extremely well; a standout that should be very popular. Subtle aromas of red fruit mingle with spicy smokiness uplifting joy in every swirl. Big flavors continuing in the vein of spicy, leather, dust and swaths of red fruit makes every sip a treat. Finishing big, smooth and pleasurable, we paired this up with a rack of hickory smoked ribs and it was a match made in heaven. ~Marc Hinton

I like this wine. I had the 2009 and it wasn’t as spicy as the 07, but showed more strawberry and black raspberry. This is a great value and I’ve found it for around $10 at a local store.
