The Australian Langmeil Hangin Snakes Shiraz is a solid effort without a lot distinctive characteristics despite its pedigree. Brambly fruit aromas mingle with spice then it stops. I was expecting more. Hype for this one in the press was impressive enough for me to plunk down my own cash to taste it. Better luck next vintage – maybe you should keep the snakes away from the grapes and see how that works out. ~Marc Hinton

Have you tried their Barossa Valley Shiraz? I think this one is impressive.
I haven’t but it sounds like we should try it. Thanks for the recommendation Richard!
I second the Barossa Valley Shiraz.
I had the hanging snakes – not bad but not great but I’ll give the Barossa Shiraz a try.
