2007 Dry Creek Vineyard “The Mariner” Meritage

2007 Dry Creek Vineyard “The Mariner” Meritage

As with previous vintages, this blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Malbec, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot is impressive with big aromas and flavors. Full-bodied and ripe with flavors of black fruits, vanilla and spice; finishes long and luscious. Good tannins and well balanced. Pair this up with bold red meats roasted, grilled or smoked. Anything with mushrooms or strong hard cheeses would work equally well. On the sweet side try roasted almonds and dried cherries. Drink now or cellar through 2024.

Excellent (91) | $40 | 14.8% ABV
