2010 Veramonte Reserva Chile Sauvignon Blanc

2010 Veramonte Reserva Chile Sauvignon Blanc

This is a summer quaffer that is a workhorse of a wine. I recommend this for restaurant “by the glass” (BTG) programs and any social occasion that calls for clean flavors. Both those duties would be easy work for this white wine, which is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. A lemon-lime passion fruit palate that will please all but the most refined palates. Its medium body and tropical flavors are pleasing and the wine brings those aromas and flavor profile all the way through the finish. A great wine for sipping alone or perfect with fresh-shucked oysters especially if you happen to have a little pepper vodka and lemon zest granita to serve with them.

Rating: Very Good (87) | $11 | 13.5% ABV

I enjoy a good sauvignon blanc. Are there others you can recommend from Chile or other areas?
