The 2009 vintage hits this mark again producing a balanced zinfandel that is round and opulent; a good amount of acidity keeps it fruit forward and juicy. Flavors of blackberry and plum are soft and pretty, finishing with a hint of black pepper and raspberry. This is a crowd pleaser for those who have tried Zinfandel in the past and thought they were too heavy. 5,363 case production. Drink now or hold through 2014.
