2009 Cloudy Bay Marlborough New Zealand Pinot Noir

2009 Cloudy Bay Marlborough New Zealand Pinot Noir

I have long been a fan of wines from this winery and I was not let down by this offering. Excellent structure, fruit flavors that shine through and a texturally pleasing finish that makes you glad you plunked down your cash because this certainly is a reward. This wine would easily adept at pairing with almost anything but the most extreme cuisines.

Rating: Excellent (91) | $35 | 14.0% ABV

Cloudy bay is known to make some great Pinot. I haven’t had the 2009 vintage but the past wines have always been good.
