NV Gran Pasión Cava Brut Reserva Spain

NV Gran Pasión Cava Brut Reserva Spain

Textbook Cava, pleasant crisp and refreshing. There is the usual slight amount of residual sugar that will be appreciated if this wine is paired with spicy food. Texturally it is a joy to consume and the balance is just right. Citrusy with a bit of baked apple flavor the wine is a good example of what an entry level Cava should be. Forward flavors and bright acidity completes the package. The finish is of medium length. It paired well with Yukon Gold potato gaufrette topped with a little Foie Gras mousse.

Rating: Good (86) | $12 | 11.5% ABV
