2010 Plantagenet Omrah Western Australia Chardonnay

This is a cool-climate Chardonnay from the Mount Barker township, a sub-district of the Great Southern region in Western Australia. Unoaked, this Chardonnay has zesty citrus, almond and pear notes with hints of grassy lemon-lime flavors leading to a clean mineral finish. For the price, it can’t be beat—excellent quality-to-price ratio. It pairs well with lingcod or any delicate white fish. A goat cheese crostini appetizer would work equally well.

Rating: Excellent (90) | $15 | 13.5% ABV
