Wine Review: 2009 Miner Family La Diligence Stagecoach Vineyard Napa Valley Syrah

Miner Family’s “La Diligence” is a small production collaboration between Miner Family winemaker Gary Brookman and Northern Rhone producer Francois Villard. This was my first exposure to this families wines and I guarantee it will not be my last. This is a wine that impresses in every way possible. Making the type of statement that only comes from diligence in the vineyard and perfection in the winemaking technique. With an aroma and flavor profile of hickory smoked black pepper candied bacon it is hard to imagine fans of full flavored Syrah not flocking to this phenomenal wine.

Rating: Excellent (94) | $45 | 14.5% ABV

Thanks for another informative website. Where else could I get that type of info written in such a perfect way? I have a project that I am just now working on, and I’ve been on the look out for such info.
