2012 Brancott Marlborough New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc

If you enjoy bright and lively white wines, you will love this Sauvignon blanc from New Zealand. The region of Marlborough makes exceptional whites that produce fruit-driven, beautifully flavored and complex wines. The 2012 is a great example of what this region does well—a style that is crisp and zesty with a good dose of grapefruit, citrus and melon with a slightly spicy undertone. You would be hard pressed to find a better wine for the price—the huge quality-to-price-ratio (QPR) will keep you coming back. With its broad culinary applications, you’ll be sure to find a pairing you’ll love—try anything from grilled chicken to shrimp, fish tacos and sushi.

Rating: Very Good (89) | $14 | 13.0% ABV
