2011 Stoller Reserve Chardonnay

Wine Review: 2011 Stoller Reserve Chardonnay

The fruit that went in to 2011 Stoller Reserve was sourced from their oldest plantings of Chardonnay on the estate. Clones 95, 76 and 96 (planted in 1995) make a unique wine with lots of character and creaminess that comes from barrel fermentation. The wine has great acidity that is balanced with a solid fruit core of pear and lemon notes. This is a very food friendly wine, so pair it with your favorite shellfish and enjoy! This should cellar well through 2016. 685 case production.

Rating: Very Good (89) | $35 | 13.0% ABV
