Niner Sauvignon Blanc

Wine Review: 2013 Niner Sauvignon Blanc, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, California

Niner Wine Estates farms from three separate locations—Bootjack Ranch (on the eastern side of Paso), Heart Hill Vineyard (on the western side of Paso), and Jespersen Vineyard (in Edna Valley to the south).  The 2013 Niner Sauvignon blanc came from the Bootjack Ranch on the Eastern side of Paso where it is really dry and warm.

The winemaker Patrick Muran created a tropical and vibrant Sauvignon blanc that is round and lively with layers of lemon, pineapple, and honey. This makes a great stand-alone sipper as well as a great food wine if paired with chicken or fish complemented with rich, creamy sauces. Bon Appetite!

Rating: Very Good | $22 | 13.7% ABV
