Steely and Bright: Brancott Letter Series Sauvignon Blanc

Wine Review: 2013 Brancott Letter Series Sauvignon Blanc

The Brancott Letter Series Sauvignon Blanc is steely and bright with a lot of interesting layers to keep you coming back for more.

Citrus, peach, mango, nectarine and guava fruits dance a crescendo with the acidity and mineral that competes for attention. There is an almost lemongrass note that competes with the tropical flavors as well, making it very complex and interesting. Overall, experiment with this wine—open it and taste how it changes in the glass over time. You’ll experience how much it changes in glass from one minute to the next. Tasted over a two hour period and it was interesting to see how it evolved.

Rating: Excellent (90) | $26 | 13.0 % ABV
