Colorado Riesling?

Colorado Riesling?

Wine Review: 2012 Sutcliffe Vineyards Riesling, Hotchkiss County, Colorado

This week, I am spotlighting a number of Colorado wines from Sutcliffe Vineyards. This Riesling was produced from the fruit of Harold Clay Orchards in Hotchkiss County, Colorado.

As with any well-made Riesling, this wine becomes the star at the holiday dinner table pairing well with roasted, smoked or fried turkey, smoked ham and all the trimmings.

Nothing says, “thinking of you” like buying wine for your friends and loved ones from the winery that made them. So if you have friends or family who are from Colorado or love things from Colorado make sure to order some Sutcliffe wines in time to have them delivered before the holidays. Enjoy!

Rating: Very Good (86) | $25 | 13.2 % ABV
