Rodney Strong Chalk Hill Chardonnay: Delicious & Fruity

Wine Review: 2013 Rodney Strong Chalk Hill Chardonnay, Sonoma County, California

Rodney Strong has been around since ’59, which means they have had plenty of time to perfect their wine style and according to the winery, a long list of accomplishments—they were first to produce and release a Chalk Hill Chardonnay and the first to make a single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon in Sonoma County.

The 2013 Rodney Strong Chalk Hill Chardonnay from Sonoma County is a delicious, fruity, tropical libation packed with flavors of apples, pears, spice and vanilla. Medium-long mineral finish will keep you coming back for more. If you need a recommendation for food pairings, you can’t go wrong with seafood or lobster!  Drink now.

Rating: Excellent (92) | $22 | 14.0 % ABV
