Chianti Classico is the Rodney Dangerfield of the Wine World

2012 Cecchi Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Chianti Classico never gets the respect it should; it’s sort of the Rodney Dangerfield of the wine world.

No other historical wine region produces so many levels of quality at such a variance of price under such strict vinification restrictions. Hey, all that’s great but let’s talk about this 2012 vintage. According to all the experts it was a banner year in Tuscany.

This 2012 Cecchi Chianti Classico has red and dark fruit flavors with a good dose of leather and tobacco at the forefront; it is, after all, Chianti Classico.

The culinary applications are endless as will be the joy and satisfaction for all who choose to imbibe with Cecchi. 125,000 case production. Enjoy!

Rating: Excellent (91) | $21 | 13.0 % ABV
