Seductive Sensuality in a Glass: Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir

2013 Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon

If you’ve never indulged your taste receptors with a Willamette Valley Pinot noir, first I have to ask—what are you waiting for?  Second, I would like to recommend a wine that exemplifies classic Willamette Valley Pinot noir flavors so you can mark that experience off your bucket list.

This 2013 Sokol Blosser Pinot noir was produced with vines planted in Dundee Hills on Jory soil at Sokol Blosser. Dirt matters and for the classic Willamette Valley Pinot noir experience, Sokol Blosser hit the nail on the head.

Lively and fresh, the aromas jump from the glass in a cherry, berry parade of greatness. Savory, earthy, minerality gives equal billing to the delicate dark fruit as the production goes center stage.  Delivering expansive fruit and savory flavors on such a lithe frame is what a pure Pinot noir tasting should be. Seductive sensuality in a glass, a tip of the hat to some mighty fine wine making, make sure you grab a few bottles to enjoy for a while to come!
