An Honest Wine: Pedroncelli Bench Vineyard Merlot

2014 Pedroncelli Bench Vineyard Merlot, Dry Creek Valley, California

For several decades now, this winery has been an oasis in a sea of mediocrity when it comes to producing reliable honest wines from an often over-hyped AVA. This Merlot is definitely one of those wines. Offering soft, broad, mouth-filling luscious fruit, the warmth of flavor and pleasurable textures make this wine a very desirable package at any price.
