2013 Miner Stagecoach Vineyard Merlot

The 2013 Miner Merlot Stagecoach Vineyard from Napa Valley is sophisticated, supple, and sexy as it glides past your tongue. It texturally pleases all of your olfactory receptors and defines the best example of what a Right Bank Bordeaux style Napa Merlot can rise to when blended with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc.

This 2013 Merlot from Miner Family offers juicy fruit, and floral fragrances, while bringing to the table nuances of bright cherry, layered with mocha chocolate.   Aged 21 months in 55% new French oak, the beautiful restrained vanilla flavors add prettiness not often afforded a wine with such an elegant backbone. The warmth of flavor engulfs the palate with satisfaction and inspires culinary creation.

Rating: Excellent (92) | $40 | 14.7 % ABV
