2014 Dry Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Polished focused and fun to imbibe upon, the 2014 Dry Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Dry Creek Valley, California is a solid, honest offering, among a sea of less than honest California Cabernets. Vintage after vintage this wine has never failed to impress this taster’s somewhat jaded palate, and this vintage is no variation from that history.

Woo-hoo to Dry Creek Vineyard. No, really, I will cheer for these folks any time, as long as they keep making wines like these. Aromatic richness is presented in an intense bouquet of red and black fruits with bay leaf and mint nuances in the mix, the berryliciousness carries through to the palate while the flavor train churns all the way to pleasureville.

Excellent | $26 | 14.5% ABV
