2015 Egger-Ramer Schiava Gentile, Edelvernatsch, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy
If you belong to one of those Wine Century clubs to drink your way through 100 different grapes, put this wine on your list. It’s made from Schiava Gentile, a black grape that makes light bodied, food friendly wines used in the light red blends of the Alto Adige. This wine is bright and offers some strawberry and violet flavors. Drink now.

Ripe and beautiful, this Sauvignon is exotic and delicious with plenty of tropical fruit. It’s a good summertime wine to pair with grilled vegetables, fish and delicate cheeses.

2016 Abbazia di Novacella Sylvaner, Alto Adige Valle Isarco, Italy
This region in the Isarco Valley produces wines with great minerality and fragrance. The Sylvaner grown here is refined and fresh, with lovely layers of honey, apples and herbs that lead to a long, mineral finish. This would pair well with linguine and clams!

Pair this dark, brooding red with an after dinner course of stilton blue cheese and walnuts.
